Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what you send us through the contact form, we use it to answer you and do the work, we don’t sell it, and you can ask us to delete it whenever you want. The rest of this page is the detail.
Section 1
What this policy covers
Veteran Vision Media is a veteran-owned marketing agency based in San Antonio, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through veteranvisionmedia.com and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, and what choices you have.
It does not cover the privacy practices of third-party websites we link to, or the practices of platforms our clients operate.
Section 2
Information you give us
We collect information you choose to provide, which typically includes:
- Your name, email address, and business name when you submit our contact form.
- The content of any message, inquiry, or email you send us.
- Testimonials, reviews, or case study information you provide.
- Billing and business information necessary to invoice and deliver services under a signed agreement.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and we would ask you not to send any through the contact form.
Section 3
Information collected automatically
Our website runs on Squarespace, which collects standard technical information when you visit. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent on the site. Cookies and similar technologies are used to keep the site working and to understand how visitors use it.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.
Section 4
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up about working together.
- Deliver, invoice for, and support the services you have engaged us for.
- Understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
- Meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Section 5
Service providers
We rely on third-party providers to operate the business. These providers process information only as needed to perform their function, and each has its own privacy policy. They include our website host and form provider, our email provider, our payment and invoicing provider, and analytics tools.
Where we manage advertising or social media on behalf of a client, that work happens inside the client’s own accounts on platforms such as Google or Meta, subject to those platforms’ privacy terms.
Section 6
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions and email correspondence are kept as long as they are useful for following up, and then deleted. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and afterward for as long as needed to meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Section 7
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Ask us to stop contacting you, at any time, for any reason.
Email info@veteranvisionmedia.com and we will handle it. Texas residents may have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and we will honor valid requests under that law.
Section 8
Email and marketing
If we email you about your inquiry or your project, that is part of doing business together. If we ever add you to a marketing list, every message will include an unsubscribe link, and one click will be enough. We will not add you to a list because you filled in the contact form.
Section 9
Children
This website and our services are intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
Section 10
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, including the security measures provided by our website host and payment processor. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Section 11
Third-party links
Our website links to other websites, including social media platforms and client sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing them information.
Section 12
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our business, our tools, or the law. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
